Brief description of essential responsibilities: Ensure compliance with laws and regulations that impact credit union operations. Evaluate compliance and respond to any identified deficiency. Ensure compliance changes are properly implemented. Provide guidance to credit union personnel. Administer process for documenting and updating policies and procedures, and write policies and procedures. Be involved in training of compliance-related topics. Develop and/or generate reports, as required. Oversee responsibilities related to security.
Special knowledge, skill and ability requirements: Ability to use computer applications and equipment necessary to carry out responsibilities. Ability to interpret or obtain interpretation of, and understand, applicable laws, regulations, policies, etc. Ability to effectively implement requirements stemming from laws, regulations, policies, etc.
Education and experience required: High school diploma, and at least three years experience that would support the ability to accomplish responsibilities of the position. Working experience with computer applications.
