More Special Thanks
Our sincere gratitude goes to Avery Martinez and her mom, Ashley, for generously bringing one of Avery’s award-winning pedal cars to our photo shoot. The pedal car featured in August earned First Place in the 2025 Española Lowrider Phenomena Full Custom Classic Car Show, and its presence added local pride and style to the calendar.
Also, special thanks to Andres, Zia Loan Officer, for making this meaningful connection. As a proud member of the nonprofit, Española Lowrider Phenomena, Andres has played an important role in bringing this celebrated event to our community year after year.

In Memorium
We extend warm recognition to Frank “Fred” Archuleta, a cherished longtime member of Zia Credit Union and a lifelong fan of our annual calendars. Fred opened his daughter, Albinita’s, very first Zia account when she was a young girl—a tradition that helped spark her own journey in the credit union movement. Today, Albinita serves our members as Zia’s Vice President of Operations.
Fred’s beloved dog, Cha Chi, now continues to be part of the Zia family through Albinita. Their presence in this year’s Pets of Zia Calendar is a small tribute to the love, loyalty, and community spirit Fred brought to all who knew him.
