Introducing Zia Kids’ Club!

Kirby Kangaroo has retired, and a new club has opened as of April 1, 2026. Zia is thrilled to welcome ZKids (ages 0-12) to Zia Kids’ Club!

 

ZKids

  • Children ages 0-12 receive half of their share savings starting deposit from Zia. Zia will pay $12.50 of the required $25 minimum balance to open a share savings account.

  • ZKids receive 1 ZBuck* for every $10 they deposit in branches. Not only will their money grow with interest, but also they earn swag! (See store for details.)

  • Children are automatically enrolled in Zia Kids’ Club by age. There’s no need to enroll. Parents may opt out of emails anytime.

  • Parents partner with Zia to help their kids learn about money and build good saving habits.

What About Kirby Kangaroo?

  • Kirby Kangaroo had to retire, so he went back to Australia to be with his friends. We are grateful to Kirby for his many years of service at Zia. Of course, we are still here to serve you, and we are happy to help kids learn about and save their money.

  • Existing Kirby Kangaroo accounts are still share savings accounts at Zia, and kids ages 0-12 are automatically enrolled in Zia Kids’ Club. No need to change anything. Parents may receive emails and may opt out at any time.

  • Got Kirby Bucks? Bring them in! They may still be redeemed for swag anytime, and you can exchange them for ZBucks in our branches.
